The director of Ranbir-Shraddha’s film was accused of non-payment of payment, issued a statement saying – ‘This is all a lie’

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will soon be seen creating a blast in filmmaker Luv Ranjan’s untitled film. Both have also started shooting for this film. Many pictures of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor have also surfaced from the sets of the film. Meanwhile, filmmaker Luv Ranjan is in the news for different reasons. He has been accused that he has not yet given his full payment to the team of the film, on which Luv Ranjan’s reaction has also come to the fore.

Luv Ranjan has denied the allegations against himself. The filmmaker has termed the allegations of not paying full fees to the team as ‘lies’ and ‘fabricated’. Along with this, he has also warned of strict legal action against the trade union. Luv has issued a lengthy statement regarding this matter, in which he has presented his side.

In his official statement, Luv Ranjan wrote- ‘We would like to state that the press statement issued by FSSAMU is false, fabricated and illegal. We want to keep the truth on record. Keeping this matter in view and state that we have made full payment to the team without any dues for one of our projects which has a production designer, Mr. Dipankar Dasgupta.’

Luv Ranjan has further said in his statement- ‘All these documents are proof that they are not us but the defaulters. We wish to state that there is no Employer-Employer relationship between us and the persons/employees hired by/through Dipankar Dasgupta. So he or FSSAMU has no right to raise any issue or dispute with us. In his statement, Luv Ranjan has also talked about taking appropriate steps in the matter.

Let us tell you, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are in the lead role in Luv Ranjan’s film. Boney Kapoor is also making his acting debut through this film. He is in the role of Ranbir’s father in the film. At the same time, Dimple Kapadia is also in an important role in this untitled film. The film will hit the big screen in March next year.
